Last weekend the weather was sad, real autumn weather you could say. Unfortunately the soccer season has started again and Jens has to play matches on Sunday again. And honestly I feel a bit bad about it, because Sunday morning has been my workout/gym morning for the last months. I loved to do a lesson of Body Balance on Sunday Morning and I was ready for the day. But now we only have 1 car and that makes it a bit more difficult. Unfortunately this is what it is and we have to deal with it. That meant that I went to the gym on Saturday instead of Sunday. The les also started at 9 AM instead of 11 AM, which I was used to but ok. Early bird and go for it haha! Because that really was heavy I did a lesson of Ass, Legs and Belly and everything hurt and after even 10 minutes I was already dead and I couldn't finish all excercies somehow I did like it. It makes such a difference when the instructor is enthusiastic, so it was a nice start of the Saturday.
After going to the gym I quickly picked up my groceries. I just love the pick up point so much it saves me so much time. I do buy my fruit, vegetables and bread fresh and not at the supermarket. When I came home Jens had to leave for work again. Which meant I had a whole rainy afternoon to myself haha. I had enthusiastically made a to do list the night before and I literally spent the complete afternoon in the kitchen. I made 2 granola's, chocolate gingerbread nuts and this lovely banana bread with apple. The banana bread is very easy to make so perfect to try this weekend. And the advantage is that you can also keep it very easily in the fridge, that way you always have a healthy snack available.

Baking time: 35 minutes
Amount: 1 banana bread(12-15 slices)
