It is Christmas holiday and I took a lovely 2,5 week off from work and that means I have a lot of time to try new recipes. Including this apple pie recipe. On the internet I found a 'unhealthy' apple pie recipe'. After some research and thinking of my own experience, I made this recipe. The less healthy ingredients like sugar and butter are being replaced and that lead to my own recipe. I am actually pretty proud of this pie. It worked out very well even though it was the first time I made it.
The pie was only out of the oven for a few minutes and my boyfriend Jens left to see a friend. Of course I always like some feedback on my pastries, so I gave him a piece of pie to also let the friend taste. About an hour later the redemptive text came, the pie was approved. The next day my parents in law came by and they were fans of the pie right away. Of course I love to share such a big success pie with you.
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Baking time: 70 minutes
Amount: 1 pie
Bake the pie for 70 minutes in a preheated oven. Pay attention that the baking time may differ per oven. You can now enjoy a lovely piece of apple pie.
