Apple smoothie with dates
"This week a relatively easy smoothie on Smoothie Sunday."
Apple smoothie with dates. A nice, fresh and sweet smoothie combined with flax seed on this Smoothie Sunday.
It is Saturday when I am making this smoothie and I have had an interesting, fun but intense day. That is why I really look forward to this lovely smoothie! Together with my little sister we went on a skid course. If we did this we would get a 15% discount on our car insurance so that seemed the perfect motivation. Besides the fact that is was really awesome to do of course.
We were also allowed to drive a truck as you can see here. I found that pretty exciting, I really thought we would stay in the industrial area, but we also went on the real road. I find it really bizar how many things you cannot see or not see completely. In the afternoon we got to the real job: braking, slipping, emergency stops on dry and wet surface, I thought it would be really scary, but it was not scary at all it was a fun day. But after such a day filled with excitement you really look forward to a lovely snack,
On Friday I made these peanut butter balls from Focus on Foodies with dates. Then I realized how much I actually love dates. That is why I made a date smoothie this week. I chose the apple on purpose as refresher together with the dates. I was worried the sweeteness would be to much when I would add other sweet fruit to the dates.
Preparation time: 2 minutes

Enjoy this delicious fresh sweet smoothie. I have to say I am actually quite proud of the taste combination. I hope you can enjoy it just as much as I did.
