Avocado fruit smoothie, a super healthy smoothie which is creamy and soft. Perfect on this Summer Sunday.
I had a busy weekend. Or actually a busy, but fun Saturday. Last week I was on a street market in Goes at King's Day and I saw so many stands with food, but not many healthy food. So I decided that I would go to the street market in Middelburg on 5 May with healthy treats. So I worked on recipes, prices and decided to sell muffins, banana bread and cookies. So Friday Night I was in the kitchen until very late, because I did want everything to be freshly baked. And Saturday Morning at 6.30 AM I was at my parents house. Because it would be super busy in town, I decided to park my car at my parents and go by bike to the city centre.
Packed and loaded I left by bike to the square where I arrived at 7 AM, perfectly on time I though. But the gate wouldn't open until 7.30 AM so I had to be patient. After that I could display my stuff. I brought a table with balloons and from some wall paper I made a price list haha, which I taped to the table. It looked very sweet and I stood out between all the people on the ground with their rugs.
I found it very difficult to decide how much of everything I needed, so at 10 AM I only had one bag of cookies left. They went like crazy. Afterwards I also sold some muffins and banana bread and at the end of the day I did sell quite some stuff. I also did take something home, but those leftovers could be kept in the freezer so that is not a problem. I know a bit better what works and what doesn't for another time. A lot of people also asked me for gluten free treats so I will definitely make some of those as well. It really was a fun day. Around 1 PM some people started to pack their stuff and went home and I also thought it was enough. I did have a spot in the shade which was perfect for the food, but I was cold all day so it was fine by me. I went to my favorite hotspot in Middelburg, Imagine where I had a lovely lunch with these healthy pancakes.
Then I went home, to have some time for myself. At night I would go to the freedom festival in Vlissingen with my parents. There was one artist that I wanted to see and my parents as well so the three of us went there. It was very nice and the performance was also very good. Walking back to the car I had to walk fast because I kept on sticking onto the street everywhere because of the beer on the street haha. I could just avoid a beer shower and grandma was home at 10.30 PM already and I find that perfect. Today is a relaxed day just enjoying the sun and relaxing. A good week to look forward to with only 3 working days. And after that it is only 3 more weeks until our holiday!
