Banana smoothie with kiwi. This week's smoothie is a real vitamin C bomb. This smoothie will surely get you through these cold days.
Last week there was no Smoothie Sunday as you have seen already. I made some space for a personal blog. Thursday I was the day off, but I spend it on baking gingerbread nuts (kruidnootjes) and delivering flyers. At Friday I worked at home and Saturday Jens and I went to the Open Day of 'Human and Intuition' in Amersfoort, a very interesting education that we are considering to attend. The weekend was almost over already. At Sunday morning I made the first orders ready and in the afternoon I went to buy Sinterklaas presents with my mum. And when I arrived home it was too dark to take good pictures, so no smoothie and no pictures. That is why I chose to make a different kind of blog so something new would be online anyway.
I had 2 more soft bananas in the fridge and last week I bought a lot of kiwis. So I really needed to use them now. I planned on doing that earlier this week, but because my gingerbread nut business went way better than I expected I didn't have time for that yet. So I enthusiastically worked on the fruit and vegetables for the picture and I made the pictures. But when I cut the kiwis open they were super dark green and they smelled very weird. Only one kiwi was still edible unfortunately. Too bad I should have done something with them earlier, a good reminder for myself. I did manage to make this sweet smoothie though.

Blend time: 2 minutes
Amount: 2 smoothies (approximately 500 milliliters)
