Blackberry smoothie with raspberry
"The best thing to do, is to choose organic blackberries and raspberries."
Blackberry smoothie with raspberry for a healthy vitamin boost.
If you follow me for a while, you know that I usually get my groceries on Saturday for the whole coming week. I buy fresh fruit and vegetables and can cook with it and enjoy it the whole week. That is also what I did yesterday. I started very easy, but I had an appointment at the beauty therapist. I also knew the highway was locked down, so I left early. Early enough to do all my groceries before the appointment and I even had some time left for myself. I went to Lunchroom Imagine (about which I wrote a blog this week) for a lovely cup of coffee.
I also bought a small lemon pie (sugar free and gluten free) and took it come. After buying all those groceries and taking those heavy bags full off fruit and vegetables everywhere, I thought I deserved that. On the way back home I also went by a small stable near our house on the countryside. There is a very sweet little stable in which they sell apples, pears and other fresh fruit coming directly from the fruit trees behind the stable. The funny thing is that there hangs a small locker in the stable in which you can put the money. When I got there I saw they had raspberries and blackberries. I love it and that is a sign that the summer really starts! I took a box of both of them and worked with them immediately. You will read the result here.
Preparation time: 3 minutes
