Carrot smoothie with kiwi. A super healthy and lovely sweet smoothie on this Smoothie Sunday.
Vegetables and fruit are super important to get your vitamins. This week I read that a lot of children don't eat enough fruit and vegetables. This is not good for their development. I also notice that I sometimes have difficulty to eat enough vegetables. Or don't vary enough. That is why I am trying to get vegetables in a different way. I regularly make soup with a lot of vegetables. Yesterday evening I made a Magioni pizza, of which the bottom consists for a big part of vegetables. A super easy way to get your vegetables. And a smoothie is of course a super easy way to get your fruit and vegetables in. This week I will be making a nice tomato soup and there will go one winter carrot in it soup. But when I went for groceries I couldn't find just one winter carrot, but only a few of them together. And actually that was not bad, because I could use the other ones in this smoothie.
Preparation time: 3 minutes
Blend time: 3 minutes
Amount: 2 smoothies (ongeveer 750 milliliter)
Once you have made a smooth mixture, you can enjoy your smoothie.
