Cheese rolls"If you want smaller cheese rolls, you can cut the puff pastry in half for example." Cheese rolls, a healthy and easy variant of the well-known cheese roll. I love cheese rolls so much or actually I love melted cheese so much that I thought it was time to make them myself. When I used to work in a lunch room we were always allowed to pick anything we wanted for lunch. During the week I usually went for a big sandwich with cheese or chicken filet. But in the weekends I usually grabbed a cheese role and a small sandwich with chicken filet and 'whitch's cheese' which is a vegetable spread and I loved that so much. My mouth is watering when I am writing this haha. This week I am going through an unhealthy phase and not really getting out of it at all. Tuesday night we went for fries, Wednesday we had a funeral from Jens' grandma. And after such an intense day you don't really like to cook so we went for pizza. Homemade but still. And honestly I am enjoying the unhealthy stuff much more than the healthy stuff at the moment. And to top it off my colleagues decided yesterday afternoon to order fries for lunch. It is definitely time for me to workout this weekend and that is on my schedule! Saturday morning I will start the day with a nice class of sweating with BBB (Bills, Legs, Belly), we can go for it after that! And maybe after working out I wan to enjoy such a lovely cheese roll on Saturday. Much more healthy than the one from the supermarket. But usually after working out I feel that healthy that I finish with a porridge or yogurt with fresh fruit. Also very delicious and honestly very nice to get back in that healthy flow. That will be my focus for this weekend, while you can make these lovely cheese rolls. Preparation time: 10 minutes Baking time: 15 minutes Amount: 2 big rolls Special Products:
Let the rolls coll down otherwise you burn your mouth right away to the cheese haha. Afterwards enjoy these lovely sandwiches, also very lovely with a blob of mustard. I very much appreciate it when you make one of my recipes and I am very curious about the result. Will you let me know how it went?
