It is the beginning of March and there is quite some snow. Spring can come if you ask me, but I think everyone feels that way. Although our dog does like the snow a lot, she loves running through it and especially the fact that you can just eat the snow haha. I love to see her like that. I have to say I find it very beautiful and I really enjoyed the weather the last couple of days. Yes it was really freezing cold, but the sky was clear blue and the sun was there, that makes it a little less bad.
And in the early morning I get dressed very well when I go out with Leyla and honestly I don't even feel like it is too cold. Honestly I expected it to be colder. And last Thursday when it was really cold because of the wind, we had a training with Leyla for the first time since Summer. I was a bit scared to be honest, usually Jens is in charge an I am the assistant. But Jens was not feeling that well he had a headache and fever, so he really wanted to get into bed which I completely understand. But that did mean I had to go all by myself. And I was a bit scared. But eventually it went very well. Even though there were 7 other dogs, she listened very well and most of the time her attention was with me. The training was about attention so that was a good start. I am looking forward to the next 6 weeks, but if they will go just as this one, that will definitely be alright. For me this again was some confirmation that it is good to get out of your comfort zone every once in a while, even though it is exciting. That actually applies in every situation and usually afterwards you are so happy you did it, at least that was what happened to me.
And to get to the spring fever, I made this summery smoothie, to get you in the tropical flow.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Blend time: 3 minutes
Amount: 2 smoothies (approximately 750 milliliters)
After those 3 minutes you can enjoy this healthy, organic, summery smoothie!
