"The best thing to do is to make the puff pastry yourself, but after 3 failed tries to do so, I postponed that for now."
Croissants, but a bit more healthy, the first Christmas recipe is finally there!
Last year Jens and I had our first Christmas in our own home, all together. Or well actually only Christmas evening. The other days we were with our families, also very nice of course. But Christmas evening was our own special Christmas moment. We cooked together very deliciously and we enjoyed this lamb rack from the butcher. But if you know me a little bit by now you also know that I enjoy breakfasts even more than dinners. So this was my moment haha. I got out of bed pretty early, while Jens was still sleeping and I baked fresh sandwiches, a stollen and other nice things. Actually I made that much that I was full when the day had to start haha. But I loved it so much.
I very much appreciate having breakfast together and honestly we don't do that very often. These Chrismas days are the perfect moment to do so. That is why I will share some nice Christmas breakfast recipes with you these coming week. You can put all these healthy breakfast recipes on your Christmas table. Like for example these croissants, that are very easy to make.
Preparation time: 5 minutes (+ 10 minutes to defreeze)
Baking time: 30 minutes
Amount: 4 croissants
You can make the croissants the night before, that way you only have to bake them in the morning.
I very much appreciate it when you make one of my recipes and I am very curious about the result. Will you let me know how it went? You can tag Organic Happiness on Facebook or Instagram @organichappinessblog and use the hashtag #organichappinessblog
