French toast with fresh fruit
"The edges should be nice and crispy by now."
French Toast with fresh fruit. A very healthy breakfast, which is also very filling.
A day later than you are used to, this lovely breakfast recipe is online. I am working on a lot of things at the same time for my blog and that means that I need to be planning everything. I did that last week, but Thursday night when I went to bed I thought oh no tomorrow is Friday! There must be a new blog online on Friday and I still had to write it.
Since a few weeks Jens and I started in the gym, so yesterday morning I started with a class of Body Balance. After that I made a start with my blog, but in the afternoon I had a very nice appointment at a lovely hotspot in Papendrecht. And at night Jens surprised me with a dinner in a lovely restaurant, and of course as a foodie you don't say no to food! After all it was a good lesson for me to plan more and work ahead a bit more, that way I can do everything I love and everything will be posted on time.
One of the things that keep me busy is the translation of my website. I see relatively much visitors from America and also from Brazil on my website. Of course they do not understand a thing on my site, because everything is in Dutch. Besides that Organic Happiness is an English name and to be able to inspire more people with my recipes, I chose to also make an English variant of my website. You should be able to change your preferred language. Besides that I am also working on optimizing the layout of the website, later more about both subjects.
I would love to tell you something about this recipe now. From when I was a kid I remember eating french toast. My mum always had a day off on Tuesday and she made them for me and my sister. Of course we used white bread (the way it should be) and we decorated them with lots of sugar, I loved them as a kid!! Suddenly last week I had cravings for french toast and I made my own healthy version of them, without sugar and with brown bread. Do you read with me for this easy recipe?
Preparation time: 2 minutes
Baking time: 4 minuten per toast
Amount: 3 toasts (1 portion)
Have fun making this easy and organic french toast and enjoy eating them!
