Kale smoothie with banana. This super food smoothie is the perfect boost on this Smoothie Sunday!
A few weeks ago I honestly heard for the first time what a super food kale should be. I really did not know that, but it appears to be super healthy. So it was time for a recipe with kale. Jens and I don't like potatoes ourselves, so no 'Dutch stamppotje' for us. Luckily on the website of Rens Kroes I found a recipe of a warm, winter salad with kale. Last weekend I went to the farm store, but unfortunately they didn't have it. On Sundays all stores are closed where we live and I just craved this recipe so much
Jens had to play soccer and the stores were opened where he had to play. So after 3 times telling him to bring kale and not broccoli and also not cauliflower he said it would be oke. Until he went home and send me a message that he had bought a green cabbage hahaha. So he concluded that it would be best if we ate fries from the snackbar haha. So we went for fries and next monday I went to the supermarket for the kale. The salad was really lovely, but a lot of kale was left, so I made this smoothie with the leftover kale.

Blend time: 2 minutes
Amount: 1 smoothie
