Khaki smoothie with passion fruit. This healthy smoothie is nice and sweet because of all the fruit it contains. And because of all those fruit this is a super healthy snack as well.
Smoothie Sunday, today is a relaxed day. Last Friday I had to work unfortunately because I switched with the Friday the week before. I have to say I get used to being the Fridays off quite quickly haha, you just have a longer weekend. If you have to work the Friday you only have 2 days and if you have plans on one day weekend is over just like that. That is also what happened this weekend. Although I have to say yesterday was a very nice day.
We started very relaxed in the morning and I baked some sandwiches. I had plans to try to make some Easter recipes already and yesterday the moment was finally there. I made lovely brunch sandwiches, the recipe will be online soon so you can try them at Easter. At noon I went to the beautician and afterwards I had a date with my grandmother. This was still for my birthday, which is a while ago already, but the weather was really bad that time, so we postponed it.
I picked my grandmother up and we went downtown. First we started with a lovely lunch and had some nice conversations. Afterwards we went shopping and I could pick my birthday gift. They are earrings which I had on my wish list for quite some time, so I am really happy with them. I needed some fruit from the Market Place and my grandmother looked for flowers. We got through the cold and found tulips. Grandma also gave a those and they are so cosy on my table.
You can not clearly see it, but they have 2 different colors. It is so sweet and it makes me really look forward to Spring again. Yesterday evening Jens and I watched the second Harry Potter movie. We started last week with the first movie, which I saw 15 years ago and I really enjoyed seeing it again. I have to say it also is a bit addictive haha. This morning we went through the Siberian cold and left to the beach with Leyla. The wind there was really hard and super cold, Leyla was super happy because she could run and we also had some fresh air. But I have to say we already were in the car pretty quickly. And now I am writing this blog with a hot chocolate.
I can imagine with this cold and temperature changes you can use an extra vitamin boost and this smoothie is perfect for that.
