Mango smoothie with figs
"If you prefer a more liquid smoothie, you can add some extra water."
Mango smoothie with figs, a lovely sweet and easy smoothie on this Smoothie Sunday!
Yesterday I went to drink coffee with my former babysitter, she was my babysitter until I was around 6 years old. But after that we always kept in touch and drank coffee or went away together. It has been a while, but it is still nice to keep on seeing each other and talk about old memories. When I was back, quite on time, I went for a walk with the dog for almost an hour.
And when I am walking with her, along the water, there always rise a lot of new ideas. And suddenly I very much felt like writing blogs. Sometimes I really am in a 'baking flow' and sometimes more in the 'writing flow' and yesterday I was definitely in the 'writing flow'. More and more people are following Organic Happiness and I very much appreciate that. I also follow a lot of other bloggers and I like to see some personal things of them and not just those recipes. And then I realized that a lot of followers of Organic Happiness might want to see or know more about me as the face behind Organic Happiness as well so that sounded like a good idea.
I started writing a blog right away and very much enjoyed doing it. It also turned out that a lot of you like to read a more personal blog every now and then, because this one was read a lot of times, thank you for that! I also held a poll on my Instagram if you want to read more personal blogs and the convincing yes means I will write more personal blogs. I want to start with once a month just to see how it goes and if you really like it.
Today is of course a new day for a new smoothie, one with figs this time. I saw them yesterday at the Market and bought them. I did see that unfortunately one fig was already moldy. Maybe that is why they were that cheap haha.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Blend time: 3 minutes
Amount: 2 smoothies (approximately 750 milliliters)
You can now enjoy this lovely smoothie on this sunny Smoothie Sunday.
I very much appreciate it when you make one of my recipes and I am very curious about the result. Will you let me know how it went? You can tag Organic Happiness on Facebook or Instagram @organichappinessblog and use the hashtag #organichappinessblog
