Mango smoothie met orange. This fruit smoothie is deliciously sweet and filled with a lot of vitamins on this Smoothie Sunday.
Like I wrote in a earlier blog, I do not always get all my vitamins and minerals. They always say you need to have 2 pieces of fruit and 2 ounces of vegetables a day, but I don't eat that much every day. For that reason I started 1,5 years ago with making smoothies. Every evening before I go to bed I make a smoothie for the next day. I can take the smoothie to my work.
These smoothies consist mainly of fruit sometimes mixed with almond milk or yogurt. I want to try to experiment more with the type 'green smoothies' and will definitely blog about that. In this blog you will find an 'old time favorite' of mine. A lovely sweet smoothie with a lot of fruit.
I used to be struggling with the pineapple. I watched a whole lot of videos about is and tried a lot. Still it always took very long before the pineapple peel was removed. And I also had the feeling that a lot of pulp remained in the peel. Now I have something that is called a Pineapple Slicer which is amazing. You cut off the top of the pineapple and turn the slicer into the pineapple. Once it is turned to the bottom you can pull it up and you have cleaned the complete inside of the pineapple. Which is very easy. If you don't have this Pineapple Slicer that is not a problem, the best thing you can do is check out a video on Youtube of how to peel the pineapple.

Blend time: approximately 3 minutes
Amount: 2 smoothies
You now have a very healthy, sweet and delicious smoothie!
