It is already Friday. Unbelievable how fast this first week of the new year has gone by. My first working week is almost already over, it is really bizarre. But also very nice, because that means it is almost Weekend and my new job is getting closer and closer. I really love the fact that I have half of the Fridays off, that way I can put a bit more time into blogging and I can't wait for it.
A good intention for me for this year is to make a meal planning for breakfast and lunch. I already do that for dinner and now I have done it for breakfast and lunch for the first time. This weekend I prepared something and honestly that is really easy. That way you don't have to figure out early in the morning what to take with you for lunch or just fix something last minute. I love to be prepared like this and I have to hold on to that, this year. And it is also very easy for the groceries. This overnight oats breakfast is a breakfast I will make more often this year. Just like a lot of people I am pretty busy in the early mornings. I want to eat relaxed, but have to shower, get dressed and get to work on time of course. And honestly I don't really want to put the alarm even earlier to make a big breakfast. That is why I love these oats. At night you put all the ingredients in a jar and you put it in the fridge. The next morning all you have to do, is grab the jar from the fridge and enjoying your breakfast. Very quick and easy, love it.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooling time: 6-8 hours (1 night)
Amount: 1 portion
This recipe is not 100% organic, because the organic nuts are not available. All the other ingredients in the recipe are organic.
Once you wake up the next morning you can enjoy this lovely breakfast. A perfect start of your day.
