Pomegranate smoothie with zucchini
"You can cut it in half and cut along the fibers or you can peel the pomegranate and scrape the seeds of from the outside."
Pomegranate smoothie with zucchini. This smoothie consists mostly of vegetables and they are lovely in a smoothie. The spinach gives this healthy smoothie this lovely green color and with the sourness of the pomegranate this is to be called a real super (delicious) smoothie.

Yesterday evening my parents and sister were to come for dinner. Unfortunately my sister was ill, but my parents did come. Actually that was the first time, in almost 2 years that we live here, that I made them dinner. They have come over for a barbecue once and of course they visit us regularly. But I just never cooked in our house for them. So that was a first. My parents don't really like desserts so I made an entree and a main course.
The entree were chestnut mushrooms filled with a mixture of among other things bell pepper, macadamia nuts, bread crums and walnuts. Really tasty, Jens and I also made this on Christmas evening for the two of us and then we decided we had to make this more often. But when do you make an entree? Almost never, so this had to be the moment to do it. For main we make one of our other favorites, which we almost always make when people come over for dinner, spaghetti. This spaghetti is with fresh tomato sauce, ricotta, spinach and smoked salmon. I can promise you it is finger licking good.
We had a very nice evening and everybody enjoyed the evening. Today Jens is away for soccer, after all those cancellations because of cold, snow and rain they will play today since a long time. For me this means a relaxing day together with Leyla. We will be going outside together and I might go into the kitchen to do some prepping for next week.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Blend time: 3 minutes
Amount: 2 small smoothies
You can now enjoy this healthy green smoothie.
