Smoothie bowl with strawberry and blueberries. The peanut butter adds a nice twist to this organic smoothie bowl, a lovely and fresh breakfast recipe.
In case you have missed it, the whole month June is dominated by Nutorious Peanutbutter. Every week I will make a recipe with the peanut butter from Nutorious Peanutbutter. This week I chose the honey/cinnamon variant. Why not combine a smoothie bowl with peanut butter? If you do not have the peanut butter from Nutorious Peanutbutter you can also use natural peanut butter or nut butter.
On Instagram I see the most beautiful smoothie bowls. About half a year ago I thought, I am going to make a smoothie bowl myself. So I searched online for a recipe and found a chocolate smoothie bowl. I decided to make it, but actually I was a bit disappointed by the result. The topping was perfect, but when I finished the topping I was just eating cocoa and the taste was a bit predominant and also a bit boring without any other ingredients.
That is why in this smoothie bowl I chose to add some fruit and not only as a topping. This smoothie bowl is a great success by the way!
