Vegan hot chocolate
"What I find an advantage of the autumn and the winter is that you can warm yourself inside on food and drinks that you don't eat or drink during the Summer."
Vegan hot chocolate, this healthy hot chocolate with cacao, dates and lactose free milk is the perfect healthy snack/drink this winter.
This time something different than a smoothie, a warm drink to start the autumn with, because it slowly is really becoming autumn and winter and I must admit I am not ready at all. I am really a Summer type and enjoyed last Summer very much because it was so amazing. If it was on me to decide it would be 20-25 degrees Celsius everyday and I see myself moving to another sunny country someday, but as long as I live in the Netherlands I have to learn to deal with the seasons. I do find the nature extremely beautiful when it is autumn, walking through the woods and seeing those amazingly beautiful colored leafs is perfect and I also like to walk when it is cold and the sun is shining. But I have difficulty handling the rainy days haha.
What I find an advantage of the autumn and winter is that you can warm yourself inside on food and drinks that you don't eat and drink during Summer. I almost weekly have a nice soup for dinner, I start the day with a warm oatmeal porridge and drink ginger tea like crazy. All things that I don't really eat or drink during Summer. And of course that also asks for a nice hot chocolate. I used to love it with of course a lot of whipped cream. Nowadays that doesn't make me that happy, although I do like it every now and then. But when I am at home and feel like drinking a hot chocolate I prefer to make a healthy variant myself. And this variant is perfect to make, it is healthy, but also super tasty! It really tastes like the hot chocolate that I used to have.
