The first recipe for my blog I made on a rainy Saturday Morning. I have a busy full time job and since we have moved in together we also have a household to do together. Besides that we also have a puppy dog who asks a lot of time and attention. That is why I do not have much time to bake in the week. In the morning I usually eat a very easy, but healthy breakfast. My sleep means everything to me, so I will not get out of bed earlier to make a comprehensive breakfast. Unless our puppy really can't sleep anymore and I am downstairs at 05.00 anyway.
Did you know that almond milk is very good for you? It is naturally low fat and besides that there are a lot of healthy vitamins in almond milk. In a later blog I will tell you more about this.
I always choose the unsweetened almond milk. If you don't like that one or don't think it is sweet enough, you can also pick the sweetened almond milk. Once by accident I bought the sweetened variant, but I thought it was way to sweet. If you don't think the recipe is sweet enough, you can also use some honey or agave syrup to sweeten the recipe.
Because I love nuts so much, I always order them in big amounts with the Notenshop (no spon). Besides the fact that it is cheaper to buy big amounts, it is also lovely to always have a lot of nuts in stock. I always choose the 'Powermix Raw' it contains a lot of different nuts.
Blueberries are usually pretty expensive, that is why I am always looking for deals. In the grocery store they also sell frozen blueberries and they are a lot cheaper. I myself have never tried them, but it is possible to use them for this recipe.

This recipe is not 100% organic, because the organic nuts are not available. All the other ingredients in the recipe are organic.
All you need to do now, is add the blueberries into the bowl and your vegan breakfast is ready. Enjoy your lovely, healthy and warm breakfast.
