Vegan sweet fritters
"Make sure every mold has a layer of approximately half a centimeter of coconut oil."
Vegan sweet fritters from the oven. They are very easy to make and much more healthy than the regular sweet fritters.
Christmas is just over and the last holiday of actually holinight haha is already here. New Years Eve comes very fast and of course that asks for sweet fritters. I notice pain in my belly when I eat greasy food so I don't eat sweet fritters at New Years Eve for years. I do buy sweet fritters every once in a while during the year. But to have a whole New Years Eve with pain in your belly is not what you want.
We don't have very spectacular evening planned. We are at my parents in law at New Years Eve, we will eat with them and play games. At around 12 we will be going to some friends and we will sleep with my parents in law, so we can visit Jens' grandmothers on New Years Day because they live nearby. After that we can go home, but on the way home we have to visit my parents and grandmother. Such a busy day after such a party night is never a success they have to figure something out for that day haha. And at the second of January I already have to start working again, so there is not much time to relax either.
But back to the sweet fritters. I thought there has to be a healthy way to make sweet fritters. I thought in the oven, but I had some doubts. The greasiness is what makes the fritters so delicious. Will they be just as delicious in the oven? And how do you even make sweet fritters? I never made them before. So I did some research, combined some recipes and made this recipe and this healthy vegan sweet fritter is born. Will you make them this weekend?
Preparation time: 5 minutes (+ 30 minutes waiting time)
Baking time: 20 minutes
Amount: 6 sweet fritters
Once the sweet fritters have drained and are cooled down, you can enjoy them.
I very much appreciate it when you make one of my recipes and I am very curious about the result. Will you let me know how it went? You can tag Organic Happiness on Facebook or Instagram @organichappinessblog and use the hashtag #organichappinessblog
